Each week brings a brand-new experience, ensuring no two classes are ever the same. Our innovative approach blends creativity, sensory exploration, and early childhood development in a warm, welcoming environment.
Who we are looking for:
Lullaland is hiring a highly organized, detail‑oriented Equipment Manager to support the behind‑the‑scenes logistics of our sensory play classes. This role is essential to ensuring our programming runs smoothly week over week.
With over 650 unique props in our program, the Equipment Manager ensures the right items are prepped, packed, tracked, and delivered - so each class can unfold exactly as designed.
The ideal candidate is methodical, proactive, and dependable, with a strong sense of ownership. They work confidently both independently and as part of a team and bring care, pride, and attention to detail into everything they do.
In addition to managing local class equipment, this role also supports equipment packages for other Lullaland territories, helping assemble and prepare sets for franchise locations across Canada. This includes tracking inventory, ensuring quality, packing shipments, and occasionally supporting the creation of custom or newly designed props.
Someone who is hands‑on, crafty, and enjoys working with materials and props would be an excellent fit for this role.
A mid‑sized to large personal vehicle is required for transporting equipment between our storage facility and class venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and transport equipment, ensuring they are properly packed, stored, and labeled
Work from our storage facility to prepare weekly class materials using session plans, with close attention to detail so each class has the props they need for that week’s adventure
Assist with the preparation and packaging of equipment sets for other Lullaland territories, including tracking, counting, quality control, and packing
Support the creation or assembly of props, when needed - creative, handy skillsets are a strong asset
Be a sanitizing superstar! Follow our stringent sanitizing measures to ensure everything is clean and ready for use
Transport equipment to or from our storage facility or between venues
Assist with class setup and teardown, and delivery of program as an assistant, when needed
Support in equipment management of other territories equipment packages for other franchisee locations
Ideal Candidate:
Exceptionally organized with strong time management skills
Detail‑focused and able to manage large equipment lists with care and consistency
Hands‑on, handy, or crafty - enjoys working with materials, props, and physical setup
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented
Possesses a driver’s license and mid-sized to large vehicle for equipment transport
Enthusiastic about supporting a creative, child-focused organization
Performing arts or singing experience is a bonus - as the role could also include assisting classes - but not required
