Who we are:
Lullaland is a women-owned startup and our baby & toddler classes are unlike anything else currently offered in Canada. Lullaland is Winnipeg’s FIRST ever sensory class, creating fun adventures for little ones and their grownups. Our creative and immersive ‘destinations’ change every week, so families never experience the same class twice! We have a passion for innovation and for baby development and this motivates us to provide a welcoming and engaging space for like-minded grown-ups. Our popular classes help grown-ups bond with their baby and toddler while also allowing them to connect with other parents who are on the same exciting journey of early-years parenthood.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Lullaland Representative who can work 16-20 hours a week. This person will work behind the scenes to manage the administrative responsibilities and provide support to ensure our classes run smoothly. This position works in the heart of the business being the first point of contact to customers on email and being a right-hand support to the owners for any new initiatives. The Administrative Representative will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be able to flex their natural style to adopt the Lullaland tone of voice.
This person will have at least 1 year administrative experience and will share our love for young families. This will be a varied role which can be done from home on a flexible schedule. The Administrative Representative will have to be highly organized, methodical thinker, and a solutional person who has an eye for detail. They are a quick learner who is willing to take their hand to any new projects that arise. This person has a positive outlook, is well organized and is a keen planner. They enjoy using Microsoft Excel and has an air of professionalism in all they do. If this sounds like you, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Job responsibilities (not exhaustive):
Answer customer emails in a timely and friendly manner
Assist with general bookkeeping and payroll administration
Plan staff schedules for new terms and communicate to employees
Manage communication with venues and review contracts
Document processes and best practices
Create spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain registration documents
Create website tickets and track performance
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1-year experience directly related to administration
Strong aptitude for written communication and attention to detail
Ability to learn processes and systems quickly while also maintaining a critical eye as to whether processes could be improved upon
Ability to multitask competing projects/priorities
Assist with general bookkeeping and payroll administration
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
Demonstrated experience working in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
